| Signed a 6 year, $60,650,000 extension after being acquired from Buffalo in a trade. The deal included an 11M signing bonus, 1M worth of "workout/other incentives" in 2010, and 350K worth of "workout/other incentives" each year 2011-2014. The base salaries in 2009 and 2010 are guaranteed. During 2010, the team was able to increase his base salary by 9.8 million, essentially paying the remainder of his signing bonus (as well as the workout bonus) as base salary. |
